Strumly complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We respond to valid takedown notices and act against repeat infringers.

Filing a takedown notice

Send your notice to admin@example.com including all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on Strumly where the infringing material appears.
  4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and you own the rights.

Counter-notification

If your content was removed due to a notice and you believe it was a mistake, you may send a counter-notification to the same address with your signature, the removed URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake, and your contact details.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly post infringing content are terminated.
